Extensive Offering
Complementary to ABB’s existing line of low voltage
manual transfer switches, the new 200, 400, and 600 amp offering
is available in both standard 3-pole and premium 4-pole configurations
to meet demanding power switching application requirements.
Nema 1, 3R, 12, 4, and 4x enclosed versions for the above
referenced transfer switches are also available. ABB’s
Non-fusible Manual transfer switch line now includes UL 508
(16 and 80 Amps) and UL98 (30 through 600 Amps) switches.
Global Acceptance & Availability
As with all ABB disconnect switches, the manual transfer
switches are internationally accepted and are marked accordingly – UL508
(16-80A), UL98 (30-600A), CSA, IEC/EN 60 947-3, CE-marked,
CCC(Chinese certification). Regardless of the final destination
of the switch or the equipment housing the switch, the
transfer switch will be pre-approved for local authorities.
Real-Estate Savings
The innovative double-decker, stacked construction allows
for an exceptionally compact and attractive design. Their
smaller size reduces the installed cost in new installations
by reducing the amount of panel space required.
Reliable Position Indication
All ABB manual transfer switches are equipped with three
definite positions (I-O-II) which provides clear and reliable
position indication for dependable isolation between two
power supplies.
Flexibility
From typical transfer switching between two sources (bridging
bars required) to operating two mechanically interlocked
switches with one common handle, this product line addition
provides great flexibility for the user. For a complete
transfer switch solution, please order 1 switch, 1 bridging
busbar kit (not applicable for 30-100 Amps), 1 shaft and
1 handle.
